Hustle Sim is run by Oddsphere, LLC, doing business as Crest Systems. Questions about your information go to [email protected].
Who the game is for
Hustle Sim is for players 13 and older. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Your account
The game makes a guest account for you automatically so your progress saves online. For that account we store:
- A random account ID.
- A sign-in cookie. We keep only a one-way hash of it, not the cookie itself.
- A one-way hash of your recovery code, if you create one.
- If you connect Google, the account identifier Google gives us. We don't receive or store your email address, name, contacts or Google password.
- Your game save: cash, hustles, upgrades, coins, cosmetics, achievements and similar progress, plus a log of the in-game actions behind it. We use that log to check saves are genuine.
- A leaderboard name, only if you choose one.
If you pick a leaderboard name, that name and your collection counts are shown publicly on the leaderboard. Without a name you're counted but not listed.
If you ask for your career to be reviewed (Settings, Get my career reviewed), it may appear in a Side Hustle Review video on our social accounts. The video shows your leaderboard name and your game progress: hustles, levels, helpers and flex collection. Nothing else about you is used. You can leave the queue in the same place, but a video that has already been posted stays up.
Playing on CrazyGames
The version of Hustle Sim on CrazyGames has no account with us. CrazyGames saves your progress, and their privacy policy covers that.
If you're logged in to CrazyGames and open the leaderboards, we start receiving:
- Your CrazyGames username and user ID, from a login token CrazyGames signs.
- Your leaderboard numbers: flex collection counts, money earned in your current run, rugpulls and clout.
Your username and those numbers are shown publicly on the leaderboards, alongside players from hustlesim.com. Nothing is sent before you open the leaderboards, and guests send us nothing but the request to view them. To be removed, email us your CrazyGames username.
Purchases
Hustle Coins can't be bought yet. When they can, payments will be handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe tells us a payment went through, and we keep a record of it: the Stripe payment and session IDs, which pack was bought, the amount and currency, and the account it belongs to. We don't store the email address or billing details you give Stripe.
On your device
The game keeps a copy of your progress in your browser's storage so you can keep playing if the connection drops. Clearing your browser data removes that copy. Your online save stays.
Analytics and hosting
We use a self-hosted copy of Umami to count visits. It doesn't set cookies or use advertising identifiers. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, device and browser type, and country. The site is served through Cloudflare, and our servers and Cloudflare keep ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Google's sign-in script loads only when you open the account panel. There are no ads in the game right now. If that changes, we'll update this page first.
How long we keep it
Account and save data stay as long as the account exists. A guest account that never saved any progress and hasn't been used for 30 days is deleted automatically. Payment records are kept as long as we need them for tax and accounting.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account. We'll need to confirm the account is yours first. Please don't email your recovery code; we'll work out another way to check. We keep payment records we're required to keep, even after an account is deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
